Show starts with Sting, Angle, and Joe coming down to the ring.  They each spit their game for Aces & Eights, before Angle calls out Mr. Anderson.  He wants to know whose side he is on.  Anderson comes out and accuses them of turning their backs on him first.  He too was attacked by A&E with no help.  He was replaced by Sting with Bully Ray, to fight A&E.  Angle says, whatever the problem is, we are fighting, if you aren’t with us.  Anderson gets in the ring, and says he’s  never like Kurt.   Angle attacks him and, and creates an Angle vs. Anderson match for tonight.

KENNY KING vs. ZEMA ION:  A short, but exciting X-Division match.  These two compliment each other well, and I would love to see this in a longer bout on a PPV.  Kenny King has an ultimate swagger going right now, and I hope both he and Zema keep prominent roles in the X-Division title picture.  King grabs the win with this finishing slam.

JESSE & TARA vs. ROBBIE T & TESSMACHER:  I guess Robbie T is a face for the time being.  This is a squash match, with Robbie T displaying huge power moves on Jesse, ending him with a powerbomb.  Afterwards, Robbie T does his dance shtick with Tessmacher, and ends up kissing her.  Robbie E is in shock.

BRIAN CAGE vs. JAY BRADLEY:  These guys are both rocking faux-hawks, not a good sign, already.  They have decided to pit 2 Gut Check contestants against each other, from now on.  They start out with some brawling, before bringing out some slams and a top rope strike.  Bradley wins this match with a Lariat from Hell.  Bradley has a big man game, where-as Cage had a little more agile game, but still classified as a heavyweight.  I’d have to pick the winner here..

A&E are at their meeting table, and tell Mike Knox he has one chance tonight.  He was unmasked last week, and he better make up for it, or he’s out of the gang.

Joseph Park is in the ring, and calls out Hulk Hogan for a chat.  Hogan still limbering around like a 90 year old, man it must suck for him to wake up in the morning.  Joseph thanks him, and everyone for helping him to get the training he needed.  Joseph begs for a match with A&E, and Hulk looks disinterested, and grants him the match.  I thought one of Hulk’s things was the ultimate protection of Joseph Park, now he’s just throwing him into a match with A&E?  Joseph leaves, and Brooke comes out.  Hulk has been  ignoring her calls and texts, and she is concerned.  Brooke wants Hulk to re-instate Bully Ray.  Hulk screams No, and Brooke looks heart broken.  Hulk had better acting than Brooke here, and probably saved this bit from being ultra lame.

BOBBY ROODE & AUSTIN ARIES vs. JAMES STORM & JEFF HARDY:  Aries & Roode takes turns trying to dominate the match, but get thwarted over and over again.  They begin bickering with each other, but manage to gain some momentum on Hardy.  Storm gets the tag, and goes to work on the duo.  Storm is about to nail the win, when Daniels & Kaz come down and interfere.  Hardy was able to get Storm down in the ring, but Aries came in and bashes Hardy with the world title for the DQ.  Aries & Roode fight over the title, and both end up holding it high in the air.

A bit with Morgan/Ryan and Chavo/Hernandez is shown, with them fighting in a dressing trailer.

MR. ANDERSON vs. KURT ANGLE:  Anderson does his Mic thing, nice to see after awhile.  He is so much better as a heel.  Anderson rolls out to the ring, and Angle asks him when he turned into a bitch.  All of a sudden, Mike Knox is into the ring, and jumps Angle with a ball-peen hammer.  Brisco, Bischoff, & Joe rush to the ring to scare him off.  Angle sells a neck injury, as paramedics come to check on him.  Angle is getting stretchered out, when Sting’s music hits.  He wants Knox right now.

STING vs. MIKE KNOX:  Right away, Earl Hebner takes the hammer and bat away from them, but lays them in the corner, and not outside of the ring.  Hmm.  Sting sends Knox into the steps repeatedly.  Sting controls the match, and pins Knox with the Deathdrop.

Sting grabs the hammer, and nails Knox with it.  He is about to deal some more shots, when A&E come out with Brooke.  D-Von calls Brooke a bitch, and tells Sting to stop, or she is gonna get it.   Suspended Bully Ray rushes down to save Brooke from A&E.  Hulk comes down and is talking down on Bully, he won’t thank him for saving his daughter.  Bully spits his piece, and says he loves Brooke more than pro wrestling.  Hulk throws his mic down.  Bully doesn’t know what to do, things are happening so fast.  He grabs Brooke, and goes to one knee.  He says he loves her, and he wants her to marry him.  Brooke says yes, and Hulk is pissed, leaving the ring.  Bully wants the wedding next week on Impact, as they kiss to end the show.

FINAL THOUGHTS:  Tonight’s show was near perfect.  They had the right people featured, and for the right amount of time.  They managed to intertwine stories, to include as much progression as possible, without becoming confusing.  The last segment of the show ended without any wrestling, which I don’t mind, especially leading into a PPV.  I am glad they fast forwarded the Bully/Hogans angle so much.  Only in wrestling, could a wedding happen in a matter of months.  I don’t know where they are going with this, aside from Bully finally winning Hulk’s trust.  I hope they have something exciting planned, as it was very stale in the weeks prior.  A&E is still featured heavily, and they have become my focus over the heavyweight title, when I watch.  I hope we didn’t see Anderson’s heel turn tonight, there needs to be a more shocking event for that.  Hopefully he will make his definitive decision Sunday, in big league fashion.  The triple threat match for the title should be a great match, and I love that TNA have people that can wrestle at the top right now.

RATING: 4.5/5
